Central California Alliance Mission

CCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting positive change, equal rights, access and opportunity for individuals in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT+) and associated communities, through programs of community service and philanthropy.

Purpose and Objectives:

  • To provide quality social events and educational activities for the GLBT+ community and to promote the positive images and aspects of GLBT+ culture throughout Central California.
  • To provide a resourceful arena for professional and business networking within the GLBT+ community.
  • To provide and promote programs for community education, for all persons of Central California, which will project positive, healthy and inclusive images of GLBT+ life.
  • To provide a forum for social and political advocacy which shall assure full civil rights, access and equal opportunity.

Central California Alliance History & Future

The CCA founding committee began meeting in April of 1993. The goal was to create the structure and bylaws necessary for forming a new business and professional organization for Lesbians and Gays.

The current results of CCA's transformation, is simple. CCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting positive change, equal rights, access and opportunity for individuals in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT+) and associated communities, through programs of community service and philanthropy.

CCA is a membership organization supported through membership dues and social and fund-raising events.
